Russell Livesay, a Waco native, graduated from Baylor University with BBA and Master's degrees in Accounting. He worked in Dallas with Arthur Andersen in its audit and business-consulting division from 1999 to 2002. He then returned to Waco, where he managed two businesses and served as the President of Med-Equip, a regional medical-equipment company, for two years before joining Disciplined Investors. As a shareholder with Disciplined Investors, Russell has earned his AIF designation and is committed to serving all clients as an independent Fiduciary and helping clients understand why having an advisor serve in a fiduciary capacity is paramount to their financial success. At Disciplined Investors, Russell serves two primary functions in helping individual wealth management clients navigate the current markets and prepare for retirement as well as help design and implement company 401(k) Plans.
When not in the office, Russell enjoys a variety of activities including spending time with his family at his children’s sporting events, playing outdoor sports, running Cameron Park trails and attending Baylor sporting events.
Russell served as a LEAD mentor working with Waco ISD high school students and has been active civically as a board member for the Greater Waco Chamber of Commerce. He also served as Board Chairman for the Waco ISD Education Foundation, which awards classroom grants to teachers within the district. Russell has been a board member for The Communities and Schools organization and Historic Waco Foundation. Currently he is active on the local Central Texas FCA Board of Directors and serves on the Board of Visitors for Hillcrest Campus - Baylor/Scott and White Foundation.
